We know that time spent in nature makes us feel better, that re-connecting with nature helps us tune out daily stressors and can put us in touch with the divine. Come discover and experience a spirituality that honors both your body and being, and all of creation. This springtime morning of reflection will begin by honoring our bodies, attuning ourselves to our sensory gifts and signals. We will then explore –the body of the earth –and God’s invitations and revelations therein. The program will include prayer, guided meditation, and an introductory experience of forest bathing. We’ll become immersed in the innate restorative power of earth by using all our senses mindfully. Come, enjoy the spiritual adventure! Fee: $25
Facilitators: Deedee Vandyke, M.A. BCC, as an educator and chaplain has developed and led a variety of retreats and renewal days in parishes and health care settings. She will team with Janice Keenan, OSF, Retreat Program Manager and Spiritual Director at The Port to facilitate this program.
