The enneagram can be viewed as a valuable tool for spiritual development, for understanding and working with others. It marries ancient wisdom with modern psychology into a human personality model to help us be more aware and understanding of ourselves and others. This workshop is an introduction and an overview of the three centers and the nine personality types as a whole system that builds compassion for self and others, and lends insight into the nuances of being human. Lunch included. Fee: $50
Facilitators: Mary Elizabeth Imler, OSF, Vice-President for Mission at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Franciscan scholar and resource, speaker, retreat director, serves on the leadership team of her congregation. Judith Plumb, OSF currently working at 8th Day Center of Social Justice and the Temporal Affairs for the congregation has been a teacher, administrator, and congregational leader. Both are Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart and have served as congregational leader. Janice Keenan, OSF is a West Peoria Franciscan and Program Manager/Spiritual Director at the Port. She has served in education, campus ministry and retreat ministries. She is a spiritual director and has facilitated retreats for a variety of ages, individuals and groups.
